Sommerville hosts Open House days for the general public several times each year; these are always scheduled to take place on Saturdays as we realize that many parents are not able to come into the school during the week. Members of the Sommerville staff are on hand to offer guided tours through the school facility, to discuss our programmes in detail and to answer any questions that parents may have.

Attending a weekend Open House provides an informative visit to the school during which parents can learn about our programmes and take a guided tour of the facility. However, it is our preference to offer to parents the opportunity to have a personal tour during a regular school day; this provides a first-hand look at the school ‘in action’ and gives visiting parents a sense of what life at Sommerville is all about. Having a chance to see classes in action; to see the students moving around the school, in classrooms during lessons and feel the true life of the school is an opportunity that helps parents to decide whether or not they feel that Sommerville is the right choice for their children.
