The Robotics Team is a team for Sommerville's students in Grades 4-8 that love technology, design, creativity and team work. For 2011, the team met every Monday and Wednesday in preparation for their FLL tournament. The team prepared a robot to complete missions, and a project on Milk safety. After a great day on December 10th at Tomken Road Middle School the team were awarded second place for their project design and narrowly missed the playoffs in the robot game. Miss Savage and Mr. Cook were very proud of the boys and girls who performed so well representing Sommerville.
