The Before and After School programmes are available to all students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. The Before School programme operates from 7:30 to 8:45 am when the children begin their regular school day. The After School programme operates until 6:00 pm.

This extended hours programme is located in a dedicated space within the school. Students for the Before School programme are dropped off at the back door to the school, where the programme supervisor will be waiting to greet them.

At the end of the school day the children are escorted from their classrooms to the After School programme by a member of staff. Parents enter through the back door of the school to pick up their children from the programme.

The before and after school programme is a supervised activity time; activities include crafts, play dough, board games, computer games etc.  During the after school programme each day there will be a quiet period in which older students will be given the opportunity to spend time on their homework and younger students will be expected to participate in a quiet activity in order to create a working atmosphere for our older students.

The cost of the programme is dependent upon the type of service selected. In order to accommodate the needs of parents, we offer both full-time and part-time registration in the programme. Students must be registered for a specific placement in the programme for the entire year. There are two distinct fee schedules for the After School Programme; one fee has been calculated for parents who pick up their children before 5:00 pm and a second fee for parents who pick up their children by 6:00 pm. When registering for the programme, parents may choose from various full-time and part-time options.
